Land Restoration Event In Our New Project Area!

On Saturday February 25th the Mojave Desert Land Trust invites you to join fellow Land Stewards for a fun day of desert restoration in Joshua Tree North Wildlife Linkage Area in Joshua Tree, CA.

This is our new project area and we want to welcome you to this beautiful wildlife corridor!  We have an opportunity to become more familiar with this area, restore OHV trails near La Contenta Road, and learn valuable restoration techniques that can be applied to your own backyard!  Please invite any family and friends who would like to be involved in this effort.

Date: Saturday, February 25th

Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm

Location: Meet east of La Contenta Road and south of Alta Loma Road/Yucca Trail
 
Bring:

• Hiking shoes
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Sunblock
• Water (hydration pack or water bottles in a day pack)
• Lunch
• Long pants and a long sleeve shirt (we recommend that you wear these to protect your skin from the sun and scratchy brush)
• Extra tools if you have them (we could use shovels, buckets, loppers, picks, and iron or sand rakes – please mark your tools clearly)
